Abu Adnan goes to SUNDANCE!

It has been a great year for Abu Adnan. The film has touched so many audiences around the world, and has been shown in almost 50 film festivals, winning several prizes including the grand prize at Indy Shorts in Indianapolis and qualifying for the Oscars 2019. However not making it all the way to a nomination. Now this particular and wonderful journey has taken Abu Adnan to this years SUNDANCE Film Festival, as part of the Windrider Showcase program, and with the great honour of receiving the very first Culture Care Award of the program. I’m proud to have contributed with the score and sound design for this little masterpiece. And I hope that director Sylvia Le Fanu and producer Sune Wahl are received well in Park City, and that more conversions and discussions can emerge around the important themes and issues that this film adresses so well. If you are not anywhere near Sundance these days, then you still have the change to watch the film on Short of the Week.
